Aline has developed her passion for Cyanotype over the Covid period in rural Dorset. She produced a series of Cynotype cushions for Made Makers Online 5-8th Nov. Cyanotype is a photogram, using a photo sensitive liquid applied onto the cotton, a silhouette (fern, maple leaf etc) is placed on the fabric, and UV light exposes the area around the silhouette. The image becomes stable after it develops under running water.
The cushions come in 4 different patterns, Fern, Ginkgo, Maple and Sorrel, in White/Blue, Turquoise/Blue, Red/Purple, Lime/Green, Yellow/Green, Orange/Bronze. The cushions are 40x40cm, 100% Cotton, and have a non allergenic pad. They are £45 including postage.
