Aline has developed het passion for Cyanotype over the Covid period in rural Dorset, not being able to access her London glass studio.

She designed and produced a series of Cyanotype cushions she sells online.

Cyanotype is a photogram, using photo sensitive chemicals applied to the material. A silhouette (fern, leaf etc.) is placed on the fabric and UV light exposes the area around the form. The image becomes stable after being developed under running water. Every image is unique as it a photogram. Colours can slightly vary.

The cushions come in 4 different patterns, Fern, Ginkgo, Maple and Sorrel. In White/Blue, Turquoise/Blue, Red/Purple, Lime/Green, Yellow/Green, Orange/Bronze. The smaller cushions are 42x42cm and are 100% cotton and have a non allergenic pad, They also come slightly larger in Velvet, 50x50cm with a feather pad. Some of the colours are also available in XL cushions 65x65cm. The covers can be handwashed.
